The Digital Impacts section is now published and available on the site.
It collects the evolution directions described in the workshop Shaped by AI — Phase 2: the impact on digital professions, translated into concrete implications for the people who design and build digital products.
The section is organized into four areas:
- Search becomes conversation — how intent-based interaction replaces keyword search, how the customer journey shortens, and how serendipity declines;
- The conversational interface — the expectation of a zero learning curve, chat as a universal default, the user’s language replacing the system’s taxonomy, progressive refinement, and memory and context adaptation;
- Agentic AI: from showing to doing — the expectation that the system acts rather than shows, and how to make a traditional product usable by an agent;
- Cross-cutting themes — trust, AI literacy and calibration, the regulatory perimeter, accessibility and hybrid interfaces, and empathy and social presence.
Each topic page details the effects on the digital professions involved, from UX and product design to SEO, analytics, content, and front-end development.
